Sushi is a popular japanese dish that can be found in Japanese restaurants, some Asian restaurants, or some deli stores. Sushi is usually eaten with soysauce and wasabi(spicy horseradish paste), but if you want to eat sushi properly, you shouldn't dip nigiri sushi directly into the soysauce dish. You cannot put soysauce on the rice. Soysauce should go on the bed of fish, on top of the rice ball.
- SOYSAUCE - Mix it with disired amount of wasabi to suit your preference.
- PICKLED GINGER - Take a good piece of pickled ginger and dunk it in the soysauce dish.
- BRUSH - Brush the bed of fish of sushi with the pickled ginger.
- REPEAT - Repeat brushing until the whole surface of fish is brushed with soysauce.
- EAT -Pick it up with your chopsticks and eat it. Savor the clean flavor of fish and sweet-and-sourness of sushi rice.
Any serious sushi fans will look at how you eat, and know that you are a veteran, not a rookie!
