Saketini is like martini, but made with Japanese liquor, Sake. Sake is made with rice, and is known for its smooth and refined taste. Saketini adds one more layer of elegance to the traditional martini.

  1. MIX - Pour 2.5 oz. of cold dry sake and 1 oz. of vodka into a shaker. Add some chipped ice.
  2. SHAKE - Make sure that thte shaker is tightly closed and shake as desired. Do your little shake dance that you do when nobody's around.
  3. POUR - Strain the mixture into a cold martini glass.
  4. GARNISH - Float a thin slice of Japanese cucumber.
  5. SERVE - Sserve immediately!
You can use flavored vodka and substitute cucumber with the flavor of the vodka you are using. For example, if you choose to use raspberry flavored vodka, you can float a couple raspberries. Use your imagination to create your own version of saketini. Enjoy!
